We broke our fundraising target with an incredible £1045! Brilliant!
A great time was had by all with no significant car trouble and plenty of hot sunny weather to keep our spirits up along the journey.
Beautiful cities, friendly locals and an all round great bunch of Sucateers.
Having travelled from Falkirk to Rosyth to Zeebrugge to Rouen to La Rochelle (via Le Mans) to San Sebastian to Salamanca to Coba Da Roca!! - we then donated our trusty Jag to Team Maybug to drive back to the UK. The engine cooling system in their Rover had packed in meaning they had to drive with the heating on to prevent it overheating... in 40 degree heat! Needles to say they were looking forward to the powerful Jag Air Con on the way back!
Malcolm and Neil then drove the Audi back to Blighty while the rest of us sloped off for a well deserved 5 night rest in Albufeira. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it!
