Finally the day has come to set off on our trip to Portugal. The time seems to have flown in since we first dicsussed entering the rally and now we are ready to go.

Thanks to everyone who has donated and helped us achieve our goal.

First stop for the General MacLee is Rosyth where we'll catch the overnight ferry (cruise) to Zeebruge. The it's onto Rouen and the start of the rally where we will meet up with our other team mates in the Sheriffs cruiser.

A huge thanks to all those who attended the Jocks of Hazzard party on Saturday night. Between the combination of entry donations, raffle ticket and game sales we raised a massive £310 with the money to be split between the Jocks and Sheriffs.

The costume turnout was excellent and a great time was had by all.

An extra thanks to Boss Hogg and Daisie for organising and hosting the event.

Having been transferred up from Chester, the Jag underwent a Jocks Of Hazzard maker over to become the General MacLee.

Thanks to Bruce at IGS Ltd for doing such a great job on the decals, they look great.

Malc worked his electronic magic to provide an excellent dixie horn on demand. Awesome!

Go Malc! after a last minute panic and some crossed fingers, legs and anything that crosses, the Jag has a shiny new MOT certificate!

We'd like to say a big thanks to Jen at this point for putting up with the car outside the house for so long and all those cups of tea you've made while Malc has spent hours working on it. Thanks Jen!

Not quite as solid as we'd hoped - the Jag fails on some rust where the suspension joins the inner front wing. Back to the grinder for Malc!
